Hello! I'm Ebitari, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Missouri. I also hold master's degrees in nursing from both Saint Louis University School of Nursing and the University of Missouri, as well as a bachelor's degree from the University of Calabar. I offer psychiatric medication management and supportive psychotherapy. I aim to be a beacon of hope as I identify your strengths and guide you to a brighter future. My open-minded and inclusive approach celebrates diversity, and I ensure my patients feel heard. I take the time to listen carefully to your concerns, assess your symptoms, and examine possible contributors. I'll answer your questions and provide the support you need for informed decision-making and optimal mental health. My goal is to identify your strengths and empower you to be in control of your own journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
In my medical practice, I prioritize patient-centered care that acknowledges the importance of empathy, understanding, and respect for each individual's experiences and values. By combining evidence-based guidelines for medication management and psychotherapy, I work closely with patients to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses both immediate needs and long-term goals. This holistic approach involves educating patients about their condition, promoting healthy habits and behaviors, teaching coping strategies to manage symptoms, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Incredibly rough, I was treated less like a patient and more like an opponent.
when I asked questions about why certain medications were chosen I was told to not ask questions until the end, when I did then ask again I was instead told to see a psychologist without elaborating or answering my original question. Multiple times I had debated ending the call as I had felt unseen and disrespected. Her bio says she works WITH patients to find a suitable treatment, I can say unequivocally that is not the case, she is not interested in explaining nor working with the patient, sees the patient as a obstacle as opposed to a person

This was the first time a doctor actually LISTENED and LET MEKEEP TALKING. I have never seen a doctor that didn’t interrupt me non stop or tell me they didn’t need to hear all of it, etc. I’m horrible at rambling and getting sidetracked in conversations and she listened and didn’t make me feel bad about it. I felt like I was finally able to open up for the first time and not feel judged or embarrassed. I couldn’t recommend her enough. 10/10

Did not seem to understand the term neurodivergent. Did not want to accept my valid ADHD diagnosis because it was "too recent" after talking to me for 30 minutes. Asked leading questions to try and change my diagnosis to Bipolar. Do not recommend for late diagnosed ND females.
