About Dr. Ebrahim Issa
Ebrahim Issa, MD, FACC, has been providing quality cardiac care to the community for more than 24 years. Dr. Issa is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He earned his medical doctorate from the Government Medical College Aurangabad, India after having been Nominated by the GOVT of India as the best Tanzanian Premed Student in 1976. Dr. Issa completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiology at SUNY at Buffalo Affiliated Hospital.
Dr. Issa is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He was also recognized as a Castle Connelly Top Doctor for four consecutive years in a row and New York Metro area 2017, Inside Jersey Magazine awarded him Top Doctor for years 2014 and 2015 and NJ TOP DOCS award 2018.

I heard great things about Dr. Issa before from people I know, and I’m here to confirm them! First off, everyone in the office was super friendly. The wait time was probably 10 minutes tops. I was taken in straight away by an amazing nurse, who was super understanding and funny and kind and a great communicator! She’s a gem! The doctor came in after baseline health info was collected and he sat down and really took his time to ask me about my chief complaint and the timeline of my illness. He was extremely thorough and explained what the next course of action would be for me. He explained what we were ruling out and what diagnostic tests were needed and even advised me to seek care from other specialists for particular symptoms! His bedside manner was also excellent. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Issa! You’ll feel heard as a patient and have a great experience! Big thanks to the team!

Dr. Issa was great and listened to my concerns. He took thorough notes and I trust his recommendation on further steps. The office staff was friendly. The COVID-19 precautions were top notch. The waiting room was closed, so people were encouraged to wait in there car until called in, masks were worn by everyone at all times and hand sanitizer was plentiful.
