About Edith Alicia Torres

Edith Alicia Torres is a board-certified Physician Assistant born in Washington, D.C. She has lived most of her life in the DMV area as well as abroad in El Salvador, where she developed her passion for serving the underserved. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She volunteered in hospitals and worked in various fields of healthcare, including Sports Medicine, pain management, and Dermatology, prior to attending Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA, where she graduated with a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. During her clinical training, Alicia found her calling in Dermatology. Alicia is passionate about providing quality dermatologic care, including cosmetic and dermatologic surgery. She takes pride in treating patients with kindness and empathy, providing care in both English and Spanish. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters and traveling.
