Super nice staff and really gentle/friendly doctor. I would highly recommend booking an appointment with Dr. Besser. Went for an annual eye check-up and waited for all for about 5-10 minutes-ish.

Eduardo Besser, MD is a board-certified physician and surgeon practicing comprehensive ophthalmology in Los Angeles, and a clinical instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles. Our office focuses only on medical and surgical eyecare and thus we do not provide prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses.
Dr. Besser utilizes all of the newest surgical techniques, including all-laser LASIK, sutureless cataract microsurgery, and implantation of the latest intraocular lenses.
Philanthropy and engagement in community are priorities for Dr. Besser both here in Los Angeles and abroad. Having been born in Mexico City, the doctor speaks fluent Spanish and participates in pro bono medical/surgical missions to Nicaragua and Mexico. He enjoys teaching UCLA residents the art and science of surgery, and donates his services to the Venice Family Clinic in Los Angeles.

I'm traveling for work from NY and my eye was bothering me. Dr. Besser had next day availability. He was great, thoughtful, spent time answering my questions. Office staff is very friendly as well.

Despite that the Zocdoc appointment was not entered into their system, they were able to fit me in with a wait of about 25 minutes.
Nice doctor who did a thorough exam and reached a diagnosis and treatment plan in just a few minutes.
I will go back to him for a follow up in one month.

I was looking for a new ophthalmologist and Dr. Besser is that doctor. He is a charming, knowledgeable practitioner who made me feel comfortable, as did his entire office, who completely won my trust.

Dr. Besser and his staff were efficient and friendly. The only area of opportunity is the hallways of the building itself, including the hallway directly into the office, contained litter which is not the best reflection on the office on a first visit. I was rescheduled from my original zocdoc appointment so not sure Zocdoc was not up to date on scheduling or it was the doctor's office but otherwise it was fine.

Have loved both visits to Dr. Besser's office. He is attentive and thorough, but also very kind and takes the time to explain (and even draw diagrams). Would highly recommend.
