About Dr. Eduardo Weiss

Dr. Eduardo Weiss was born in Caracas, Venezuela and received his medical degree from the Universidad Central Venezuela. He completed his dermatology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Weiss is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is internationally known as an expert in the field of dermatology. He has diagnosed and treated thousands of patients globally in his 30-year profession. Dr. Weiss specializes in Mohs surgery for skin cancer removal, facial rejuvenation including cosmetic laser technology, Botox, facial fillers, soft tissue augmentation, leg and facial vein treatment, and tumescent liposuction. Dr. Weiss has been featured in numerous national and international publications along with being invited to numerous dermatological conferences as a key speaker and educator all over the world. He is passionate about educating dermatology physicians and future physicians in the field he loves. He is a Clinical Associate Professor for the Division of Dermatology at Nova Southeastern University, Clinical Professor at University of Miami – Miller School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, and founding voluntary faculty member and Clinical Associate Professor for Florida International University – Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Additionally, he serves as a board member and Secretary-Treasurer of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Weiss has many notable achievements in medical care and has served as a principal investigator/co-investigator in many research studies. He is involved in several non-profit organizations and has also had the privilege to treat patients in developing countries and regular community outreach programs. Dr. Weiss continues to be an advocate for our local community and those abroad. In his free time, Dr. Weiss enjoys boating, gardening and spending time with his three kids and three grandchildren.

I had been looking for a dermatologist for a good while and everywhere I went was either incredibly expensive or with horrible customer customer skills. Dr. Weiss and crew were incredible! And my treatment was very affordable. Very pleased, would 100% recommend.
I Have been going to the same Dermatologist for over 30 Years and he wanted me to do a CO2 Laser due to my Skin Cancer Problems I went to 2 Places before and then Dr Eduardo and I can even express my gratitude to him and his staff. Dr. Weiss is highly knowledgeable and with a wide complicated conditions experience. Dr. Weiss takes all of your medical conditions in consideration when suggesting a plan of care. On top, he has great bed side manners!
I had a very difficult location of a skin cancer deep in my ear. Dr. Weiss did an outstanding work on removing it. He explained everything. I will recommend him to all my family and my friends. He is by far the best Dermatologist I ever seen, and I am 81 years old and have seen many dermatologists during my life.
The office provides excellent UVB Photo therapy services provided by Meka. I have been going to this location for 7 years. Highly recommend Hollywood Dermatology.
I went in yesterday for a melanoma on my scalp. I was scared, cried through the whole procedure, but the staff and doctors were so so wonderful. Jorge was the medical assistant on my case and he was a dream. One of the kindest humans I’ve ever encountered. Dr. Weiss was the primary doctor on my case and was also so so kind and attentive and answered everything I asked. There were two other doctors, one resident from Hungary and one teacher from Long Island.. that were amazing as well. I asked their names and tried to remember them but it was a rough day and now I cannot, but I wanted to make sure they got a shout out. Everyone was so knowledgeable. I really liked that I experienced them teaching each other. I also appreciated that even though I had a 2pm appointment, I was seen right on time!! The 3 doctors and Jorge made a horrible life experience for me into a positive one just through their kindness and reassurance. I’m so grateful.

As soon as I walked into the office, I knew this place was different. The staff was warm and welcoming, and made eye contact when greeting me, a courtesy that is becoming increasingly rare. Dr. Weiss himself was also warm and friendly, clearly setting the example. He and his assistant took the time to explain the recommended procedure, which Dr. Weiss tended to personally. I highly recommend Dr. Weiss and this office.
Over the years I have happily been in the excellent hands of dr Eduardo Weiss.Mohs surgery happened twice you can’t see where it even happened on my face.I had my eye bags removed through laser for a few minutes of discomfort a more youthful face was revealed.I run unfortunately I was careless and “festoons “ were the result. Once again the correct laserWas used and happily one can’t really tell where they once were.A few brown spots on my nose and presto the lasers took them away!Good Results are everything when you’re seeing any doctor. One can’t be better served by A dermatologist named Eduardo Weiss.Wear sunscreen!
