Edward Neve received his Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing at Hunter College. He also holds a Master's degree in Drama Therapy from New York University, allowing him to blend his passion for creative expression with the discipline of mental health treatment. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), enabling him to provide mental health care to individuals throughout the lifespan.
Edward's journey in the mental health profession began over 15 years ago, taking him from group home settings to inpatient psychiatry in various hospitals across the New York area, as well as multiple private practices and community mental health outpatient centers. He has worked with individuals ranging from 5 years old to over 90, collaborating with healthcare professionals from a wide range of disciplines.
His unique path toward becoming a clinician has led him to specialize in treating individuals with anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. He has extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA community and the unique challenges they face in today's social landscape. His years studying both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology give him a perspective that emphasizes the inseparable relationship between the two approaches in achieving mental health goals.
Edward focuses on employing a client-centered approach by offering each individual the most up-to-date clinical expertise necessary to make choices that foster their own unique vision of mental wellness. His passion for the arts and performance has deepened his appreciation for the value of a creative and innovative approach in providing mental health care.

I appreciated how Dr. Neve took the time to gather the information he needed, including hearing me speak about my struggle with anxiety and depression, to get a better idea of what kind of medication would help me, as well as options of medications to start out with as I have never tried medication before. He made it easy to understand and is willing to work with me if something does not work. Eddie was so kind and understanding! He truly wanted to know everything I was experiencing so he could give me the best assessment, and without judgment. I also respected he didn’t diagnose me right away. He explained it takes time to get to know someone and formulate a diagnosis, which helped me feel more secure and like he was truly listening.
