“The doctor made me feel that my health was truly his top priority. Throughout my visit I felt he was focused on what was best for me rather than looking for ways to increase the medical bill, which unfortunately has been my experience with many other doctors. That’s how you build trust. It’s a feeling i always had when living in Europe but i lost once i moved to the US. ”

I love Dr Rohaly and his staff. I’ve been a patient for quite some time and they have been super accommodating with other medications I’ve needed (skin related, of course) He has a great bedside manner. Most of my appointments are skin checks, but I can bring anything to him and he give me my options. I’m VERY pleased with the practice

I always feel like the best care is being given when I meet with Dr. Rohaly. He takes the most conservative approach and when I leave feel comfortable that he is helping me lead a better life, cancer free.

2 years ago, I went to Dr. Rohaly with Vitiligo on my hands. I knew what it is on my hands, I went there to get help regarding it. But sad part is that he didn't know what it is and he didn't know what to say. He told me " let's look at it on the web, and he seriously did. He prescribed me two topicals following the advice on the web, which I was already prescribed before. I was shocked that a dermatologist doesn't know what Vitiligo is. He told me there is not much to do and he referred me to someone at UCI Medical Center. After using the topical, I got hopeless thinking there is not any cure for this situation as him and previous doctors approached the problem without any recent education and knowledge. During the 2 years, the situation on my hands got worse and I decided to go to another doctor today. After I did, I really got sad about the situation that I experienced 2 years ago. I should have given another shot for visiting another doctor 2 years ago and realize that there is so much else to do other than what Dr. Rohaly told and prescribed. I am not recommending this doctor at all.

This was my first visit to Dr. Rohaly's office. The staff was extremely friendly and I appreciated the candidness and professionalism of the other practitioner. I will definitely be coming back.
Verified patient
Let me begin with this- the bedside manner of the staff, and the lack of communication as to the office processes is the problem, not Dr. Rohaly's expertise. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, as a first time patient I'm aware there is always paperwork to be completed. About 45 minutes later (a half hour after my appointment was scheduled) I was seen. No problem, I don't mind the wait, usually it means the Dr. Takes necessary time with their patients, which Dr. Rohaly did- he was professional, thorough, and (relatively) painlessly removed a mole for me. So where do things go south? Aside from being sent a bill for my visit (very expensive even with insurance, and had I know the price of that mole removal I wouldn't have done it but was no position to haggle while laying on a sterile table, awkwardly naked. All I'm saying is someone should have offered the information for an inconsequential procedure), I heard nothing from the office. Then I receive a bill for my biopsy. It's not unreasonable, but what I found unreasonable was I receiving a bill for a biopsy I never received results for. The office never called to tell me if the mole was benign or not, so now I have to call them to find out if I do or don't have cancer. Ok, I thought to myself, I'll call, get the results, this must have been a mistake in a busy office. I have grace for these things, my mother was a nurse for 20+ years. I call, the receptionist is empathetic and helpful. She offers to get her manager for me, I thank her. The manager's tune was very different- aside from speaking to me like I was an idiot, she consistently talked over top of me - I literally could not get a word in edgewise - before HANGING UP on me! Yes. She hung up on me. In fairness it was probably because I told her (calmly, as she spoke overtop of me again) this conversation is clearly going nowhere, but wow, have some tact lady. One piece of information I did find out for future first time patients: the office operates on a "no news is good news" policy, so if they never call to tell you, you have cancer, you're good! Here are my two issues with this: -Tell your first time patients this is the office's policy, otherwise, as FIRST TIME patients, how will we know? -Personally, I'm not a fan of that waiting game, I paid enough for that visit to at least get a phone call telling me that. They got my money though so, what do they care? Cha ching.

I have been going to Dr. Rohaly for over 10 years and happy to see him on ZocDoc. He is very professional, intelligent, and thorough. He also makes sure to answer all the questions I have and provide helpful feedback. Highly recommend.
Dr. Rohaly has been my dermatologist for many years. I have recommended him to many people as he is not overly aggressive and has one of the best staffs anywhere.
Verified patient
I have never had such a pleasant experience at a doctor. Even though I was a new patient, I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. Dr. Rohaly was kind, understanding, and academic (without seeming pompous or being difficult to understand). I appreciate that he has a chaperone in the room, although I had no issues and wouldn't have requested one.
Very pleasant.

I thought Dr. Rohaly was very thorough and professional. My wait time was minimal. And I thought his staff was very nice and also professional.
Dr Rohaly is professional, personable and just down right good at what he does. The office staff is always so welcoming, friendly and efficient. He is one of my favorite Drs.
The initial visit to see Dr. Rohaly was a pleasant relief from the previous doctor I had gone to see. The front office was good although I was asked to fill out the paperwork again despite having submitted the information through ZocDoc. The doctor and his staff were very professional and I appreciated his no nonsense approach to the situation and thorough explanations with his recommendations.
