Although I was assured they were in network for my insurance. I contacted my insurance lawyer and was told the facility was covered but not the doctor was not. Under federal law they're required to inform me of this and give me a good faith cost estimate of the procedure. They didn't, instead they asked for the equivalent of a blank check.

If you’re actually looking to get some insight about your skin and want to see someone who cares do NOT book an appointment with this doctor. I was looking for a different alternative for treating my cystic acne and mentioned something that didn’t work for me and he straight up tried to get me on accutane which has a never ending list of side effects. Also one of the ways he tried to convince me to go on it was shaming me about being a 24 year old girl who still has acne. I was so uncomfortable and the fact that he made the girl who was watching over during the appointment advocate for him was even worse.

I have reached out three times asking for a bill to be reimbursed by my HSA and have received no response. Up until my appointment, they were very responsive. I do not think providing an itemized bill is too difficult but it is for this practice.

Saw the Doctor for my acne keloidalis nuchae, and I'm happy to say that after 3 weeks of following the treatment plan. The bumps have reduced by over 90%, and all inflammation & pus have been cleared completely. Had no idea there was medication to help manage this condition.
Additionally, the Doctor took time to explain to me the reason behind the condition and how it operates.
Looking forward to our Telehealth follow-up.

The Dr. immediately knew what the source was and even brought up other symptoms that I had but was unaware were relevant to the issue. Very knowledgeble. And I liked that she wasnt so quick to put me on lifelong oral medicine as some other doctors have for the same thing.

I was not seen by the doctor booked on ZocDoc, but that's okay. My appointment was at 11:30 AM. I arrived about 10 minutes early. I was seen at approximately 11:45 AM. The doctor did not have the liquid nitrogen needed to treat me, and they told me to return at 3:45 pm to get treated. I did not come back.
I would rather find a provider that has the necessary tools to treat me at my appointed time, instead of having to reshuffle my schedule around

I had an amazing experience. I was able to easily book the appointment. I received a text confirmation from the doctor's office right away. When I contacted the office, the person who assisted me (unfortunately, I didn't get her name) was very helpful. The doctor was able to see me at my appointment time and was able to diagnose my concerns. He called in my prescriptions and it was a quick and painless process.

The dermatologist you need if you’d like to have proactive appointments. He surprised me as i was asking him about some moles on my back by saying, “do you want to do a biopsy?” and, before i knew it, i was walking out mole free:) I feel like not many other dermatologists would have done the same!

Dr. Alfaro was the one who showed up for my appointment, not Dr. Young. She was so sweet, understanding, patient, and most importantly, thorough. With every concern I had, she addressed, and highlighted the limitations of virtual sessions because diagnoses would not be 100% accurate, which I really appreciated. Regardless of this limitation, she provided effective treatments for me to try out first to address my specific issues of sebhorreic derm, psoriasis, and acne. Though I have not tried out the treatments yet, this appointment brought me hope in calming down both my acne and eczema flare-ups.

I got a more junior doctor at the clinic that was under the supervision of the doctor I booked with. They warned me when I booked this could be the case and I was okay with it.
The I got dr. David Cole. He was a great listener, asked lots of questions to get a clear understanding of my issue and had a great solution. He also wanted a follow up to make sure I was going to heal the right away and ensure no issues - great bedside manner! Highly recommend.
I did a video call which was efficient to book and join online through FaceTime. Although the call was 40 minutes late, it was still well communicated by the reception that they were running late.
Other than the delay of my appointment time, this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this clinic and doctor.
