“First off I would give 100 stars if it was an option ??????????????????????????????????????????????????It was the best experience. I have never spoke with a therapist before so I was a little iffy and I’m not sure if all therapist are like Dr. Edwige but she hands down litteraly helped me just by talking. It was like laying on your mamas/aunts/or sisters couch just venting and she has the most sincere heart and concerns for her patients. She makes you feel like you’re her only patient. I will say even after our visit I still feel calm and peaceful. And that’s without taking any meds she perscribed to me Yet. If you’re new to this like I was and looking for the best Dr. pick her! You won’t regret it!! ”

Dr. Edwige Tonye is a board-certified PMHNP with 5 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She specializes in treating individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders, helping them regain stability and confidence in their daily lives. She tailors treatment to each individual's needs, empowering them to take control of their mental health. Dr. Tonye received her Master of Nursing from Walden University. She takes a holistic, evidence-based approach, drawing on methods from CBT, multicultural therapy, and narrative therapy.
MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.

Dr Edwige,Tony is so amazing she does a very good job with her patients and the most thing I love about her she Listens I tell my sister all the time sometime you have to LISTEN and that's all I want is for someone to actually hear and see what I feel or how I feel and she did that today she didn't interrupt me not one time she waited until I was finish she felt my pain and she saw my cry out for help because I have been through so much trauma and she saw that today and she is willing to help me and that's all I want I can admit when I'm going through something and I'm not afraid to admit that today was a new start to a new beginning of me to get me back to where I use to be and I want to thank you for accepting me regardless of anything thank you she's the best
