Getting to know Eileen Stengel
I am a firm believer in a person's strengths, bravery and perseverance in not only being a survivor but a thriver regarding life circumstances. I am equally as passionate about the benefits of initiating psychotropic medications if warranted. However, I do like people to appreciate that there are no “magic pills” and in order to receive a full benefit with achieving mental health includes the need for therapy in addition to medications.
I am not a propronent of long term use of benzodiazepine's. If this is an agent that is needed please explore other providers that could assist with this.

I believe knowledge is power and I take great pride in educating my patients on not only what medication but why this choice.
I review brain chemistry and what are the chemicals we are targeting to give someone relief and improve one’s quality of life.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Eileen was warm, welcoming, and incredibly well-spoken. She made me feel at ease right away and created a safe space to talk. She’s a great listener—thoughtful, intelligent, and deeply insightful.
