About Dr. Eleazer Yousefzadeh
Dr. Yousefzadeh is a specialist in gastrointestinal and liver health. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center, where he was awarded Outstanding House Officer. After completing fellowship training in 2012, he joined an academic practice with an appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel University.
His commitment to teaching the next generation of physicians continues with adjunct appointments as Clinical Assistant Professor at NYIT and Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Yousefzadeh has served as Chairperson of the Division of Nutritional Services at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre. He treats all gastrointestinal and liver disorders, including Inflammatory Bowel Disease, a focus of his clinical practice. Other interests include medical nutrition and weight management. He is certified in hemorrhoid ligation therapy.

I waited an hour for him to talk to me for 5 minutes for a serious illness. The doctor was very inpatient, and did not answer any of my questions. He did not explain clearly either. I will not recommend this doctor at all. Absolutely horrible experience.

I had my first appointment today with Dr Yousefzahdeh. It was so nice to go to a new doc and feel that you found the right one. Dr Y was very personable, he listened and explained things well. The office was nice, the staff was great, I was brought in for my appointment right on time, and there was ample parking. Not a si gel complaint. I highly recommend!

I’ll tell you how amazing EVERYONE is at this office. I came with my daughter who was having a procedure done.
