Elecia Trowers is a Board-Certified Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of South Florida in 2016 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019. Elecia completed her psychiatric internship at Florida Behavioral Medicine, Lakeland Regional Health, and Yantra Psychiatric Services. Her professional background includes surgical transplant nursing and cardiothoracic nursing. She is also a proud nurse leader and continues to practice cardiothoracic nursing at the bedside. Elecia Trowers is a compassionate, understanding, and kind psychiatric nurse practitioner who takes the time to listen to her patients and understand their needs. She approaches treatment modalities on a holistic basis.
