I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based mental health care.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe every patient deserves to feel heard and understood, and I take the time to learn about each person's concerns, experiences, and goals before developing a treatment plan.
I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, and other mental health conditions. Treatment is individualized and may include medication management, supportive therapeutic interventions, education, coping strategies, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
As a DNP-prepared psychiatric provider, I emphasize evidence-based practice, patient education, safety, and shared decision-making. I want my patients to understand their treatment options, including the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives, so they can be active participants in their care.

What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach is warm, collaborative, and patient-centered. I want new patients to feel comfortable discussing their concerns without feeling judged or rushed. During our first visit, I will take time to understand your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current stressors, previous treatment experiences, and what you hope to achieve through care.
I believe treatment works best when patients are active participants in the decision-making process. I will explain my clinical recommendations, answer questions, and discuss treatment options so that we can develop a plan that feels appropriate for your individual needs.
My practice includes psychiatric evaluation and medication management, along with supportive therapeutic interventions when appropriate. I take a thoughtful approach to prescribing and carefully consider medication effectiveness, potential side effects, safety, and your personal preferences.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach to psychiatric care. During the initial evaluation, we’ll discuss your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals. When appropriate, standardized screening tools may also be used to help clarify the diagnosis and guide treatment.
Together, we’ll develop an individualized treatment plan, which may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with your therapist or other healthcare providers. Follow-up visits focus on your response to treatment, medication effectiveness and side effects, symptom progress, and any necessary adjustments. My goal is to create a comfortable, respectful environment where you feel heard and actively involved in decisions about your care.
