I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based mental health care. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe every patient deserves to feel heard and understood, and I take the time to learn about each person's concerns, experiences, and goals before developing a treatment plan. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, and other mental health conditions. Treatment is individualized and may include medication management, supportive therapeutic interventions, education, coping strategies, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals when appropriate. As a DNP-prepared psychiatric provider, I emphasize evidence-based practice, patient education, safety, and shared decision-making. I want my patients to understand their treatment options, including the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives, so they can be active participants in their care. During our first visit, I will take time to understand your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current stressors, previous treatment experiences, and what you hope to achieve through care. I believe treatment works best when patients are active participants in the decision-making process. I will explain my clinical recommendations, answer questions, and discuss treatment options so that we can develop a plan that feels appropriate for your individual needs. My practice includes psychiatric evaluation and medication management, along with supportive therapeutic interventions when appropriate. I take a thoughtful approach to prescribing and carefully consider medication effectiveness, potential side effects, safety, and your personal preferences. You can expect our visits to be respectful, supportive, and focused on helping you make meaningful progress toward your mental health goals.
