About me:
Dr. McGeehin grew up in Los Angeles, California. Trading in her sunglasses for snow boots, she moved to New Hampshire to attend Dartmouth College and graduated cum laude with high honors in molecular biology. She also pursued a love for oil painting and had work exhibited at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. After college, Dr. McGeehin helped launch psoriasis clinical trials at Massachusetts General Hospital before returning to Dartmouth to receive her medical degree, graduating with honors from the Geisel School of Medicine. Her research focused on autoimmune skin diseases, for which she received a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship and Presidential Scholar award. She completed her internship at Lankenau Medical Center and her residency in dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University. In residency, she developed an interest in dermatologic allergy and patch testing. She is a member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Dr. McGeehin practices a combination of general, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. McGeehin was OUTSTANDING!! Wonderful bedside manner. Listened to my concerns. Checked out every little nook and cranny and even did a biopsy on a spot that I was concerned about. Turns out I needed a more invasive procedure. She was very thorough and kind in her explanation of the procedure and explained every step from beginning to end. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

The front desk receptionists were very friendly and welcoming and made the check in quick and easy. Dr. McGeehin was extremely thorough through my examination. Not only did she take care of my present issues, but also gave some advice for alleviating some problems of mine in the future. Very, very happy with Dr. McGeehin and Dermatology Associates of Plymouth Meeting. I recently moved to NW Philly and was looking for a new dermatologist in the area. Two attempts to get an appointment with a Penn Med dermatologist were unsuccessful (none available). In retrospect, I am glad because Dr. McGeehin's office is closer to me, she has a wonderful bedside manner and she is very knowledgeable. I intend to continue my dermatology care with her. The office staff is also friendly, professional and helpful.

Dr. McGeehin has compassion and continued to make sure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. She also went out of her way to refer me to great doctor for other issues I’m having that aren’t related to dermatology. She did this without asking. She was quick and thorough. There’s not really much more you can ask from a doctor.

The office was great about confirming my appt and getting. all of my info ahead of time prior to arrival. Check in was a breeze ! All of the staff were extremely friendly, thorough, and very efficient. Dr. McGeehin was excellent. Extremely thorough, friendly bedside manner, and had great suggestions, and excellent recommendation on the timing for my follow up appointment!
