About Dr. Elie Sutton
Dr. Elie Sutton is a Brooklyn native surgeon who has been treating patients at Maimonides Medical Center since 2013. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. After completing his residency training in General Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center, he pursued specialty training in Colon and Rectal Surgery through a fellowship at Mount Sinai West Hospital. In 2020, he returned to Maimonides as faculty to join the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Growing up just 10 minutes from Maimonides, Dr. Sutton has always valued the exceptional care the center provides to his community and is proud to now be part of that care. Embracing the cultural and ethnic diversity of his home borough of Brooklyn, he graciously accepted the opportunity to join the team at Maimonides.
