About Elisa Bremner

I've always had an interest in food and nutrition, but the passing of my father inspired me to do something more meaningful with my life. I went back to school for Nutrition Education—after catching up on all the science classes I didn't take in undergrad—and found my calling in empowering people to take charge of their health through food choices. I also have a passion for the link between food choice and climate action. What's good for us also happens to be good for the planet! Background Elisa is a board-certified Registered Dietitian. She earned her Master’s in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Cornell University. She works part-time as an Adjunct Professor of Nutrition and Culinary Skills at Westchester Community College. In her free time, she loves cooking, hiking, reading, learning, hanging out with her cats, and talking about food!
