About Dr. Elisabeth Elsinger
Dr. Elizabeth C. Elsinger is a board-certified podiatrist and an Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She treats a wide range of common foot problems affecting both individuals and the general population with diabetes mellitus. Dr. Elsinger also evaluates and manages common foot injuries in both athletic and non-athletic patients.
Dr. Elsinger earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed residencies at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, NJ, and Franciscan Children's Hospital. Additionally, she completed a fellowship at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain General Campus, and at Capital Area Health Consortium in Farmington, CT. She is fluent in English and German.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Elsinger conducts research focused on the second metatarsophalangeal joint, second toe instability, and plantar plate pathology. She is deeply involved in teaching residents and was honored as “Teacher of the Year” by the 2015 chief residents.
