Getting to know Elisabeth Mustachia
Psychiatric Wellness, owned and operated by Elisabeth Mustachia (she/her), a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing and has been a nurse since 2003. She provides integrative psychiatric care, a method that uses a holistic, whole-body, approach that utilizes nutrition, lifestyle, exercise and natural medicine to ensure your well-being and optimize outcomes for each patient. In addition to psychiatric care, Elisabeth also provides therapeutic treatment using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and ImTT (Image transformation therapy) to help patients reduce anxiety and heal from trauma.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I practice integrative psychiatry which means that I look at physical, environmental, social factors as well as past traumas in order to address all factors that contribute to mental illness. I provide therapy, medication management and lifestyle management services. The process for the initial intake involves extensive paperwork that I review before your appointment to come up with a tentative plan before you come in for your first appointment.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Typically the first session is an hour and a half and this involves reviewing a summary of your intake paperwork and coming up with an extensive plan that is tailored to your individual situation. Labs are ordered and possibly a genetic test for medications.
Follow up appointments vary depending on your situation. For those who choose to obtain therapy, follow up is in one week to begin weekly therapy sessions which are 50 minutes to 1 hour long.
If one is being seen for medication/lifestyle management only, the follow up is in two weeks and 30 minutes long. Labs and the initial plan are reviewed. The plan may be altered based on your lab results.

Colorado: We currently accept Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and private pay.

Psychiatric Wellness Fees
To maximize patient outcomes Psychiatric Wellness practices integrative psychiatry services, which goes above and beyond what insurance typically pays for. Insurance will still be billed for the standard care and you will still be responsible for your deductibles and copays. Additional integrative health services are billed as private pay and are discussed below.

Before your first appointment we perform an initial review of your information and create a pre-appointment plan of care as a means to maximize the use of our face-to-face time
On the date of service we perform a 60-90 minutes initial evaluation, where we stop, and give you time to tell your story
