“I really liked Pinnacle Dermatology in Woodbury. The employees were very pleasant and helpful! Elissa Chung helped me with my mole on the side of my face and reassured me that it was not cancerous! I was very happy when she told me that freezing it would help! Both her and her assistant were very helpful when they gave me ideas about creams and a bag of samples that would help with skin dryness! I will recommend this clinic to my friends and I will be back with any skin issues that I may have!

About Elissa Chung
Elissa Chung, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant who joined Pinnacle Dermatology, A Pinnacle Dermatology Practice in 2017. Throughout her physician assistant studies, Elissa was consistently on the Dean’s List and was awarded the Harrison Mentorship award for mentoring PA students. She graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science and Master in Physician Assistant Studies from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York. During her education, she developed an interest in dermatology and completed an elective medical dermatology rotation in upstate New York. Elissa is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical practice. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In addition, she is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. As a physician assistant, she has received specialized training in dermatology. Elissa is licensed and qualified to perform comprehensive skin examinations, diagnose, treat and prescribe medication for a wide range of dermatologic conditions. Elissa’s passion is helping her patients achieve their optimal skin health from a medical health and wellness perspective.
