*After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University, followed by my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric mental health. My career began as a registered nurse on a trauma step-down unit, where I cared for individuals recovering from surgery and substance withdrawal. Working in these high-stress environments alongside patients and their families during difficult times deepened my desire to support mental wellness. My clinical training and professional experiences have since guided me toward working with populations affected by anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorders. I also specialize in women’s health, mood and eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, and other complex psychiatric conditions, with a focus on empowering clients to achieve stability and balance in their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you’ll find that I take a collaborative and supportive approach. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental and compassionate environment where you feel comfortable openly discussing your thoughts and emotions. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, and mindfulness practices into my sessions, tailoring our work together to meet your unique needs. I believe therapy is a powerful tool that can help you gain insight into your thought patterns and behaviors, and I’m passionate about helping you explore these areas in a safe space. My goal is to not only help you manage your symptoms but to educate and empower you so that you feel confident in navigating your mental health journey. Outside of work, I prioritize self-care by staying active and trying new things in the kitchen. Cooking is a passion of mine, and I love experimenting with new recipes and hosting friends for a meal. I’m also currently learning to make sourdough bread! Staying active through workout classes also keeps me energized and helps regulate my mood. I believe maintaining a healthy balance is just as important for me as it is for my clients, and I bring that same philosophy into my approach to patient care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our sessions, I like to begin by getting to know you and your experiences with mental health. We’ll work together to identify your goals, develop a treatment plan that works for you, and regularly assess your progress. Whether we’re focusing on therapy alone or integrating medication management, I believe that treatment should be a collaborative effort. You can expect a thorough and thoughtful assessment, open communication, and a genuine commitment to helping you improve your quality of life. As we move forward, we’ll adapt your care as needed, adjusting to your evolving needs and priorities. I encourage clients to approach this process with patience, as finding the right balance takes time and teamwork.
