About Dr. Elizabeth Braungart
Dr. Braungart is licensed to practice Naturopathic Medicine in the state of CT, where she has lived and worked for the past 15 years.
She graduated with highest honors from the University of Bridgeport, College of Naturopathic Medicine, in 2012 and went on to complete her residency there. Since then, Dr. B has stayed on at UBCNM as adjunct faculty; she is pleased to be teaching future graduates in the areas of Laboratory Studies & Diagnoses, Hydrotherapy & Public Health.
Dr Braungart is also certified in First Line Therapy (FLT) and trained in Cranio-Sacral Technique (CST).
When not up north in Coventry or down by the seaside in Bridgeport, Dr B is found in between at her home formulating recipes for food or medicines, creating comforting skin salves & balms, or working outside in her prize-winning garden.

I decided to try an ND for a change, as I am a young person who has bounced from doctor to doctor since my pediatrician. I generally have a lot of anxiety about doctor’s appointments, so I was encouraged by Dr. Braungart’s reviews online.
My visit was lovely. Easily the best experience I’ve had with a medical provider. She was very thorough in her questions, and it felt more like getting to know someone than a medical intake. She was inquisitive and articulate, helping me to find the words to best describe my experiences. She was very respectful during the interview as well as the physical exam.
I was able to leave Dr. Braungart’s office with a small list of tasks to complete before my next visit (testing, supplement suggestions, and even some grounding exercises), and I felt extremely comfortable and open. Dr. B was also very understanding of financial limitations, which I appreciated.
Overall, the appointment was fabulous! I am excited to go to the doctor for a change. :)

This was my first appointment with Dr. Braungart. I was overly impressed, she was attentive and focused, the visit was not rushed. She sent welcome text before the visit which included precise directions and the location of the office. The post exam we had a further discussion and everything was explained, additionally I was given the opportunity to ask any clarifying questions. I really enjoyed the setting and the privacy of the office and the visit.

Elizabeth Braungart was a wonderful find. My previous naturopath of over 20 years had retired, and I was looking for the same qualities in a new doctor. She has been excellent in listening to my needs (which have been unique due to long covid), and recommending products that really work. I have total faith in the advice I am given. She always takes into account my restrictions that must be met when prescribing. She keeps up to date on what tests my PCP has authorized, and takes the results into consideration of my symptoms. I would highly recommend her as a top quality naturopath.

Visited for my first visit today. Dr. Braungart is very personable, is easy to talk to and spent a generous amount of time with me. It was obvious that she has a large knowledge base to draw from and uniquely tailors her recommendations for each patient. My naturopath of 10 years retired, but I feel in very good hands with Dr. Braungart and am excited to have her expertise as part of my self care!

Dr. Braungart is very knowledgeable, I highly recommend her! I'm very picky when it comes to doctors. She listens and address what needs to be addressed and explains everything in great detail. She gives you a detailed regimen to follow and is available for any questions you may have. I give her 6 stars!
