About Dr. Elizabeth Damstetter
Note: All telehealth visits require a $125 deposit. This deposit is not refundable in event of cancellation. Dr. Damstetter attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate and medical school studies, earning Phi Beta Kappa and junior Alpha Omega Alpha status. She then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center and a 2-year Clinical Trials Fellowship in Dermatology at Northwestern University and Dermatology residency training at the Boston University Medical Center. In addition to seeing patients at Reserve Dermatology, Dr. Damstetter is on staff at NorthShore hospitals and an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Damstetter is a board-certified dermatologist, Assistant Professor of Dermatology, and the owner and medical director of Reserve Dermatology & Aesthetics. She has extensive expertise in the management of acne, hair loss, skin cancer, pigmentary disorders and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Damstetter is known as a thought leader in dermatology, serving various roles as consultant, speaker, author and on the board of directors and various committees of national dermatologic societies. She is known throughout the greater Chicago area for her thoughtful and individualized approach to care, inclusive practice philosophy, and commitment to transformative outcomes for her patients.

I had seen Dr Damstetter for a procedure in 2019 while she was still with Rush. I was not necessarily looking for her in particular but once I saw her on zocdoc, I was sold. Very professional.

The staff are SO lovely. The person who brought me into the back room was a male assistant. I’ve never before had a male provider offer to step out and let a female provider take over if it would make me more comfortable - that was very impressive and considerate (even if unnecessary in my case, I don’t mind male providers). The doctor was kind and attentive and answered all my questions. Happy to have found a good derm!

Dr. Elizabeth is so kind and she addressed all my concerns. I will highly recommend her because I was suffering of severe eczemas in my hands for 5 years before I met her, I was in pain and in shame and no dermatology or allergist can cure my severe eczema. Then we found Dr. Damstetter she examined my hands and skin then started with the treatment then it worked and up to now I am a happy ?? camper with Dr. Damstetter care. For two years my skin is clear and my eczema is under control . Thanks ?? a lot Doctor!
