About Dr. Elizabeth Harrington
Dr. Elizabeth Harrington has been on the faculty of The Mount Sinai Medical Center since 1981. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Barnard College and a graduate of Alpha Omega Alpha from New York Medical. She completed her surgical residency and vascular fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Harrington served as the president of the New York Vascular Society from 1998 to 2000. She holds American Board of Surgery certification in general surgery and special qualifications in vascular surgery. Her areas of expertise include Venous disease including venous ablations, perforator injection and sclerotherapy. She is also trained in care of carotid artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, limb salvage, aortic aneurysms, and aortoiliac disease.
