A very special psychiatrist that has really slowed down to listen to me and my health problems along with my mental health problems obviously being the main cause of why I’m seeing her. She will work with your doctors and if you’d like that option. But the most thing is that she actually sits and listens to you and she’s extremely intelligent at what she does. This is the first time in probably like 15 years of depression where she found a type of medication that is is giving me some relief which is bigger than I can ever ask for. but not just that she addresses all your problems. Everything that you feel is going on and she addresses everything and she’s extremely brilliant. Last little note I’ve seen many psychiatrist and she has been probably the number one I have seen and that saying a lot.

Dr. Elizabeth Howe, has helped me so much and in such an emergency time where I have severe health problems and I don’t have really much help from family or friends; so it’s hard for me to keep everything together. But she was able to get me in next day and help me and prescribe the medicines I needed. she’s so understanding and she knows how important it is too. If you have trauma to also be in therapy along with medication and she also works with all your providers and if you’d like that choice. But for me, it really helps out. I can’t say enough great things about her and I’m so appreciative of her.

I have been seeing Beth Howe for a while. I didn't realize how much I really appreciated her until I wasn't able to see her for a few months on my online appointments. She is extremely thorough and comes across that she truly cares about helping me get well and feel better. I booked myself for an in person appointment but was contacted by 2nd Chance a couple days later saying that there was no in person appointments. Which is fine, because I know it’s difficult to be seen in person. But Dr. Howe was 18 minutes late to our virtual visit. No apology or acknowledgment that she was late. For the rest of the consultation she asked me the usual questions but would cut me off or speak over me at times. Since she cut me off she wasn’t able to understand my symptoms fully and when she asked for further clarification, she would cut me off again. Just very weird and disrespectful. She wasn’t rude but just seemed like she didn’t want to speak with me and would rather do anything else. This was my first time ever speaking to a psychiatrist and it was just a very uncomfortable experience. She never even gave me a proper diagnosis, just a script to fill. Just not a comfortable or professional experience. Would not recommend her.
