“This was my first psychiatry session ever, and the entire experience was truly amazing. I’ve been struggling with ADHD for a long time, and Elizabeth was incredibly understanding, patient, and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable from the very beginning, listened attentively to my concerns, and provided valuable insights that helped me better understand my symptoms. Her approach was both compassionate and professional, and I left the session feeling more confident about my treatment options. I highly recommend Liz to anyone seeking ADHD evaluation or mental health support!!! ”

Getting to know Elizabeth Lemons

I am a very compassionate and professional Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. I have managed and treated a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, sleep/insomnia, OCD, Bipolar II, PTSD, substance use, and other areas, with over 11 years of experience treating teens, adults, and seniors. I work well with clients from all backgrounds, providing a safe and comfortable space for everyone. I am excited to work with people who are eager to improve their overall health. I wish everyone knew that there is hope and that taking the first step is hard, but once you do, people are here to help you reach where you want to be in life. My inspiration comes from seeing the smile and hearing the words, "I am doing so much better," from people once we achieve the goals we set together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to be able to tell me their goals for reaching out for help. They can expect questions regarding their history and their life so that we can get to know each other. They can expect an open discussion of what is felt to be going on and treatment approaches that may help. They can expect to be able to make choices in their treatment and to get a clear understanding of their illness.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Liz is always open to trying things, she’s a fantastic communicator. It’s been a long time since I have felt heard by a Provider. Thanks Liz!
Being cared for by Liz is like expressing yourself to the PhD of your own brain. She understands, she explains , she knows how, and more importantly why; what it means, to you, in your own self existence, in the real world, that you call your life.
