She is passionate about helping individuals feel more like themselves and take control of their mental health. With approximately a decade of experience in the mental health field, she has worked in diverse settings including private practice outpatient offices, a community mental health center, a crisis response center, and the psychological services office for students at the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Milburn treats individuals eighteen and older via telehealth in PA and NJ. She strives to find the best treatment fit that brings the most benefit with the least harm. Her holistic approach sometimes includes recommendations of supplements, therapy, exercise, dietary modifications, sleep hygiene measures, and psychiatric medication management. She treats all psychiatric illnesses and has a special interest in working with undergraduate and graduate students, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Trained and experienced in all areas of adolescent and adult psychiatry, Ms. Milburn manages mood disorders (such as Major Depressive Disorder, Persistent Depressive Disorder, and Bipolar Affective Disorder), anxiety disorders (including Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder), and ADHD. She tailors treatment to each individual’s specific difficulties and needs. If patients already have therapists they wish to continue working with, she happily collaborates with them. She also has extensive experience in switching antidepressant medications and safely tapering individuals off antidepressants and habit-forming psychiatric medications.
