Dr. Elizabeth O'Callahan, MD

Dr. Elizabeth O'Callahan, MD

Family Physician
165 Smith St, Brooklyn, NY
My first priority as a physician is to give my patients the tools they need to make decisions about their own health. I believe in the power of healthy lifestyle choices, setting achievable goals, and utilizing medications when necessary. As a family physician who has worked with patients from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life, I recognize that sometimes health goals will take a backseat to other priorities. I am committed to finding health solutions that work in the world outside of the exam room. I have experience with a full range of primary care, and am particularly passionate about reproductive and gender-based care ranging from family planning, to STI and HIV management and prevention, to initiation and management of gender-affirming hormones. How I stay healthy and happy: I enjoy trying new things--especially new foods and new destinations. I like activities that allow me to interact with other people, whether that's over a shared meal, while participating in an improvisation marathon, or on the soccer field. Education: Weill Cornell Medical College Residency: Mount Sinai Downtown Residency in Urban Family Medicine Board certification: American Board of Family Medicine Goes by: Liz Pronouns: She, her, hers
