What should a new client know about working with you?

Working closely with the parents is the clue to success. The first line of treatment is never a drug in the youth but food and lifestyle, they are medicine. Will also reinforce your spiritual faith and teach you to navigate the medical system of mental health. Will also maintain good communication with your PCP and outside therapist.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Christian Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Providing integrative treatment (therapy/CBT, medication, lifestyle changes, diet, education, and coaching). I specialize in anxiety/depression, attention deficit and autism spectrum. I take care of not only the symptoms but the root of the problems. We will set goals and identify obstacles. I will present a treatment plan that addresses the social, work/school, physical/medical and mental state components of the patient with an emphasis on prevention and relapsing. Medication is never the first option of treatment for the first presentation of emotional problems.
