About Dr. Ellen Burov
Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Ellen Burov, M.D., has been listed in “America’s Top Physicians” since 2003.
Dr. Burov earned her medical degree from Moscow Medical Institute of Health Ministry. She completed her internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel (Beth Israel Medical Center) and her fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital.
She currently holds an academic position as clinical assistant professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Was concerned with a little wound on my arm before the visit, left the clinics with a biopsy under my foot haha :) Joke aside, Dr. Ellen Burov and her team were wonderful. Polite staff, clean environment, knowledgeable assistant. Dr. Burov herself was very professional and cared to listen to you. She was very friendly and confident the same time. They politely answered all my questions about my insurance too (something you should beware if you live in U.S. right?!). Overall, it was such a positive experience for me and would strongly suggest Dr. Burlov and her team to anyone looking for a good dermatologist.

Cluttered office, no where to put your clothes when you change, the room and office was filled with boxes. Poor bedside manner and no one really knew why I was there, even though it said in my apt for my annual scan. Doctor had an attitude and did not create a warm envionrment.

Dr. BUROV was fine but I find her staff not as top of things. My prescription was not covered by the insurance, which doctor thought it may happen but we wanted to try. I was fine to find out it was not covered when I went to cvs but I called the office twice to follow up so I can still get the prescription another way but I am still waiting to hear back.

Got to my appt 10 minutes early but then was not seen until half an hour after my appt time. The Dr mentioned someone else accidentally coming in a week early for their appt and she ended up seeing them before me which I felt was not right. Other than that the appt was okay.

Like some people who fear the dentist or doctor, I fear the dermatologist. I have had troubled skin for years and dermatologists are typically cold about my emotions towards my skin. Mr. Burov is outstanding. She has fantastic bedside manner, as well as great knowledge of the field. I will be continuing my visits with her!

Dr. Burov is extremely attentive and personable. I felt that the treatment she prescribed for me was not "one size fits all". Rather, she tried to incorporate my concerns to come up with a regimen that would be effective without forcing something on me that I wasn't comfortable with. My first visit left me with a very positive impression.
