Very professional, thoughtful, personal approach, and most importantly - overall it felt like a good conversation with a person who actually cares about my problem
Dr. Nadelson is awesome! He is professional; he listens; has great bedside manner; and, a wonderful sense of humor. I came into his office a bit worried about my health. After the consultation and listening to his diagnosis, I was at ease. His staff is friendly, professional, understanding and upbeat.
Very satisfied. Took time to listen, examine, and explain.
Great experience. I forgot my insurance card, and the girl at the front desk was extremely patient and helpful in working with me to confirm my insurance. Once the insurance was handled, wait was short. Doc was very friendly, diagnosed the issue quickly and efficiently, and I was on my way. Hope to never have to come back, but if I do will certainly be to Dr. Nadelson.
Great doctor! Very professional, friendly, and timely. Took the time to discuss everything with me and answer all of my questions. Seems very knowledgeable and determined to treat me as best as possible without blindly over-prescribing drugs.
Always professional and thorough.
Excellent urologist, passionate , genuine and highly educated. Took time to listen and gave great advice. Highly recommended
very attentive doctor who pays attention to you. never feels like a clinic like so many offices these days
Very professional. Took time to educate me on symptoms. Highly recommened. ??????
I dont understand why my zoc doc info did not register. mkes no sense
I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Nadelson. I thought he was very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and even went over a few things more than once so I could better understand. I liked that he took the time to really listen to my problem and understand what I was talking about.
Pleasant, personable and professional. Dr. Nadelson combined a good bedside manner with thorough competence. I recommend him to anyone looking for a urologist midtown east.
Dr. Nadelson was extremely informative and professional. I would definitely go back and recommend him to friends.
i was very comfortable and would highly recommend D t Nadeldon to my friends and relatives
Dr Nadelson was very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great Urologist.
Dr. Nadelson was very professional and very patient. During the exam I did not feel rush . Dr. Nadelson took his time.
Great doctor. Very comforting and on top of things. Knows what he's doing and treats patients in the best way.
I booked an appointment via Zocdoc for my husband, called to confirm and they still did not have him in the system when he got to the office. His wait was over an hour and a half. Overall Dr. Nadelson seems to be an ok doctor but his office staff is not very organized (phone call was also a mess...).
There was unnecessary wait time, no explanation for it and strictly copay by cash only which delay my visit for about 20 minutes.
I have been in the office 3 times, every time I waited more then 45min and up to 70min. My office visit lasted less then 5min. I felt they were upselling exams and recurring office visits: "I'll see you next month...". I initially agreed to do some extra expensive exams. In the next office visit, when I asked about the results of my previous exams, the doctor confessed he didn't know nor checked the result of those exams (!). I wonder how this practice manages to keep a high star rating, because here and there I see other patients complaining about the 45min + wait...
Very good visit. He was professional and courteous, as well as attentive and genuinely interested in my health. His coworkers were helpful and patient as well. No issues whatsoever, and I would return again should something remotely related arise.
Office is stuck back in the day, still using paper charts and the like. However, Dr. Nadelson was very knowledgeable and his bedside manner was great. He even had me schedule a follow up phone call appointment to make sure the dosage of medication he gave me was working and the right fit for me. Doctors like that are hard to come by!
Dr. Nadelson is very nice and friendly. But, the wait time in his office is way longer then the check-up and the conversation about my concerns. All feels very hasty like my appointment is squeezed between others last minute. I don't feel like I'm being heard and the test scheduled based on our conversation is even the right one. Considering switching.
Very nice man
When I turned up on time, there was another patient waiting, and I was expected to pay cash up front before the consultation, no other payments accepted. Generally not a great experience.
Dr. Nadelson is an excellent physician! Very nice staff!
2nd appt and wait was Over an HR both times.
New patient, wait was long Dr.seems cool. Will update. Did patient evaluation on zocdoc. Still had to do again at office.
Experienced and caring physician
The staff and practice are unprofessional. I was required to come to the front counter to pay three times for one visit... the pricing is opaque. A urine test was required before I even saw the doctor... no idea what they were testing for, but I was billed for it. Then Dr. Nadelson blood tests, and I got three vials taken. No idea what those were for, either, but they made sure to bill me for them, too. Oh, and they are cash-only... like all legitimate and ethical medical practices. Dr. Nadelson was... slimy. He assumed my sexual orientation without ever asking, then performed a series of invasive examinations with no explanation or warning what would be happening... Is taking a hypodermic needle to my scrotum necessary to test "reflexes?" I have no idea, but I was given no warning before he did it. I would not recommend, and won't be going back. I wish I could have the more than hour I spent in the waiting room back.
The doctor was very friendly and explained everything, which is important to me. He also didn't dismiss my concerns because I'm "young". I feel many doctors rule out possible conditions because of my age and I could be misled which in turn can affect my health in the long-term. The only thing I didn't like was the wait although I showed a few minutes earlier. Definitely recommend though.
Dr.Nadelson definitely knows what he is doing! He is very knowledgeable, professional, and takes his time to explain what the issue is and offer a solution. He is very nice and funny, as well. The staff is also very professional and nice, they treat you with respect and are very welcoming. One of the best doctors I've ever seen!
experienced and compassionate
Dr. Nadelson is kind and thoughtful and addressed all my concerns in the upmost professional way.
Only accepts cash which was a huge red flag. Required a handful of pretty extreme tests for a very simple and common issue....okay fine, I'm not a doctor. But then you can't get all the tests done and now require another visit/procedure before I can get any relief to my issue...yeah that's not happening. Was really hoping to get some help, but I guess not....
Very professional. Easy to talk with. Co-pay is cash only.
He's a kind and caring doctor with great bedside manner. I would highly recommend him.
Doctor Nadelson is great, highly recommended. However, I had horrible experience with a lady taking care of his billing. She failed to submit my insurance and half a year late called me and started to shout at me that it is my fault. She tried to bill me saying that insurance claim process expired. Extremely rude and condescending - most horrible experience I had.
I had to wait long than I would have liked, but once I got in he apologized for the wait, and did a good job of alleviating my concerns and explaining what I needed to know.
Awesome and very professional ...
doc have no idea about how much a test would cost. he would then tell you to ask the girls at the front office. these staff are super unorganized. they keep records on notebooks and the notes are all over the place. very very unprofessional the doc is not really patient and compassionate. he doesn't seem to listen tentatively and doesn't ask enough questions.
Dr. Nadelson himself seems like a good guy and once my visit began he was very professional and friendly. He helped me understand the tests he was doing and why, and I am going to go back soon to follow up. However, his front desk was extremely slow and processing my information and confirming their acceptance with my insurance provider. Perhaps this was because I was a new patient or perhaps it is because they were training new staff. Still, I didn't see Dr. Nadelson until at least 1 hour and 15 after my appointment time. That seems like too much to me.
Great doctor/urologist. Highly recommend. Made uncomfortable topics no big deal and was very thorough in evaluation. Only downside is that everything is cash only (no cc, checks) for whatever your insurance doesn't cover. Dr. Nadelson is an excellent physician.
Dr. Nadelson is fast and efficient once you get in and are seen. The waiting time is a bit long so plan ahead.
I was a hour, & a half late because of train, though if i would have been on time, I really think i would have been seen as soon as it was my appt. time. They still saw me, & treated me as if it was my appt.! They all really cared about me! It was great!
I am very picky about Doctors which has resulted in my not going as often as I should. From the Dr Nadelson's initial greeting all the way through the exam, I felt comfortable and at ease. Great Dr.
Excellent Doctor and Staff!
The entire staff is always so friendly and caring. I was shocked when the receptionist remembered me from a whole year! Dr. Nadelson is always so caring and interested in how I'm doing and how everything is going. This is why I keep coming back to this doctor! Highly recommended.
Very attentive to detail.
IT WAS GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL
After waiting an hour and a half to see him, Dr. Nadelson sent me for tests I did not need. I had to go back to him for five visits, two of which could have been done over the phone but now cost me hundreds of dollars in fees.
Excellent Doctor. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. A very professional staff. I highly recommend Dr. Nadelson,
Really nice office , just remember cash only .
While it was a little inconvenient that I had to wait over an hour for my scheduled appointment, Dr. Nadelson was well worth the wait. I found him to be both competent and comforting: He quickly set me at ease as he assessed the reason for my appointment. I would highly recommend him but be prepared to spend some time in the waiting room.
Pretty bad. Really did nothing for me. Said he couldnt do a procedure because he hurt his finger in some ski trip. Hand looked fine to me. Only brought me in to get deductible. Would not recommend him to anyone and makes the fee for service model look worse than it already it is for doctors.
Great doctor and very thorough with all tests, procedures, and recommendations.
The doctor was very polite and knowledgeable about the situation and encouraged me to stay hopeful for a positive solution to the issue at hand.
Front office staff is terrible. Cash only, which is ridiculous.
I think Dr. Nadelson is a good doctor, but I have to recommend against scheduling an appointment with his office. You learn when you arrive that they only accept co-pays using cash and they direct your to an ATM a block down the street. The office wait will be over 30 mins. The second downside to cash co-pays is the lack of records keeping. Several weeks after my appointment I received a notice that I had not paid my copay in full. I distinctly remembered that I had because of the required trip to the ATM. I called the office to sort out the misunderstanding by they ended up speaking to me meanly and - I felt - impolitely. They refused to consider what I said. Again, my experience with Dr. Nadelson himself was positive, but a visit to the doctors office shouldn't cause so much distress.
He is a good doctor and very personable who really cares about his patients..
He was very nice and explained the procedures very well. I would recommend him to others who need to see an urologist.
Dr. Nadelson is very thorough and professional. He made me feel at ease about my issues and took plenty of time to explain everything in detail. Wait time was a bit much, but it wasn't his fault.
The doctor was ok, it is a factory where rentability is the keyword. Got a test done 2 months ago; still chasing for results and no one to help.. very bad experience
The receptionist was amazing and called my insurance to make sure I was covered. The wait time was around 30 minutes which I wasn't very pleased with. Some of the equipment was a tad old looking.
Dr Nadelson is the absolute best. He's over the top professional, friendly and above all treats me like family. Whenever I visit his office his staff is super sweet.
Managed care has made it difficult for physicians to practice the art of medicine. However, Dr. Nadelson is one of the few who still practices the art of medicine. His medical history and physical exam were thorough and he has an excellent beside manner. Dr. Nadelson's staff office staff are wonderful - knowledgable and very pleasant. As a physician myself, I highly recommend Dr. Nadelson.
Efficient so far. Returning tomorrow for additional testing.
Great bedside manner, appreciated his frank discussion regarding my issue, but was 45 minutes late to my appointment.
Pleasant and nice
Wait time was an hour and 10 minutes. Unprofessional staff.
Dr. Nadelson was very engaged and attentive when I was speaking. It was refreshing to see a doctor that didn't seem like he was rushing you out the door. Definitely would recommend to anyone and in a great location.
Dr. Nadelson was incredibly attentive and polite from start to finish. Just moved recently and needed a urologist in NYC and I definitely found him! Just be sure to bring cash or check as they don't take cards. They were running late but were short-staffed when I went in, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt!
Dr Nadelsin is very pleasent, happy guy. He is thorough and extremely positive.
There was a bit of extra wait time after I made it into the examination room, but other than that an overall good experience. Dr. Nadelson was warm, professional, and helped ease tension about some potentially uncomfortable diagnostics.
He addressed my issue with care and professionalism. I am happy to recommend this doctor.
Getting in touch with them for results took several follow-up calls with his staff. Cash only upfront - no cards accepted. There was one other thing I did not like about the doctor but I cannot post because they go against the review guidelines of ZocDoc. He's a friendly guy nevertheless.
Excellent manner, straight forward and clear explanations, covered all my concerns associated with visit, instills confidence by his approach and very thorough in his exam, plus very good follow-up and scheduling. Thorough explanation of diagnosis & treatment plan.
He's just awesome. He's down to earth and knows how to treat his patients well. The location is easy to find and the lady at the counter is cool as well. I will def refer to my friends.
Dr. Nadelson was incredibly personable and very helpful. I would definitely recommend him.
Just a great doctor all round. Couldn't be more satisfied with the visit.
Very good experience.
Long wait once initial evaluation to do other tests. Results not available right away
Waited an hour and half before being seen with the excuse "he's busy today." Don't overbook then! Saw the doctor for all of 10 minutes. Take note - CASH ONLY!
Lost my medical records. Made me wait 40 minutes. Doesn't take credit card.
Really great visit. Likeable and knowledgeable. Immediately put me at ease.
He was very nice, understanding and extremely caring. He made sure I was alright throughout the entire appointment and clearly explained everything to me. I highly recommend.
Second time now that my appt was delayed heavily...if you have an appt, make sure you clear your schedule in case of delays..
Great guy, funny, friendly, thoughtful.
Amazing!!! The receptionists and doctor make you feel at home. The ladies in the front are sweet, polite and get things done quickly. You feel right at home talking to them and the doctor. The doctor is a rare jewel!!! He really cares about you and has a great personality (similar to his staff). He is down to earth and explains things to you, makes you feel comfortable, very trusting, informative, etc. Thank you Doctor Nadelson and staff you guys far exceeded my expectations??????
Great doc! Super professional and makes you feel very comfortable.
Though he was running on a bit of a delay (what doctor isn't?), Elliot Nadelson had excellent bedside manner, and was professional beyond compare.
Seriously surprised me with his professionalism. I've had very friendly doctors and I've also had good, thorough doctors, but I was surprised to find one who was actually both.
Very friendly and nice! Made me aware of facts and helped me out!
Very satisfy with the consultation
Extremely nice guy, made me feel totally comfortable, was very understanding of my budget situation.
I didn't see Dr. Nadelson; I accompanied my mother to the visit. My mother had been referred to follow up on a kidney stone and Dr. Nadelson was great. He even explained everything to my mother in Spanish! Definitely recommend!
Saw this Doctor three times. The wait time was always more than 1 hour. He apologized for it but that doesn't change the fact that it was a long wait. He always seemed to be in a hurry, as if he wants to get you out of there asap. After waiting for more than 1 hour to be called in, I don't wanna feel rushed once its actually my turn to be seen and treated.
Very enjoyable...nice man. Good doctor and staff. Long wait.
Great doctor. Knows what he's doing and makes you feel as comfortable as possible (under the circumstances), the wait time is kind of silly though.
Very pleasant, however, seemed preoccupied. Talked more than listened, but by his age, he appears to know what he's doing.
Fast and efficient. Scheduled a follow up and hope for the best
Direct, informative, takes his time to explain things.
The wait time did test my patience a bit but it was well worth it. Dr. Nadelson is one of those few doctors I've seen that doesn't rush the visit and takes the time to listen to and understand your concerns.
He is very professional and keeps you informed.
great, apart from the wait.
