Emely Arrieta-Smith is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Pink Pearl Primary Care. A proud graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and graduated with honors (Sigma Theta Tau), Emely has dedicated over 16 years to the art and science of healing. Licensed to practice independently as an autonomous nurse practitioner in the state of Florida, Emely brings extensive clinical expertise and compassionate care to every patient encounter. Her experience spans hospital bedside nursing, outpatient primary care, home health, and telehealth—caring for patients from pediatrics through geriatrics—giving her a well-rounded and deeply human approach to medicine. But Emely is more than a provider. She’s an educator, health coach, care coordinator, consultant, patient advocate, and mentor. Her mission extends beyond treatment—she’s here to empower, guide, and walk alongside her patients as they reclaim their health and wellness. Her journey into building Pink Pearl Primary Care was deeply personal. As a mother, Emely struggled to balance the demands of motherhood with a healthcare system—and a job market—that left no room for flexibility. Sick days, school drop-offs, family events—all of it felt like a burden in traditional roles. She watched how corporate healthcare valued profits over people and saw firsthand how patients and providers alike were reduced to numbers in a system that lacked soul. Out of frustration and purpose, she began paving a new path—one where healthcare could feel human again. A passionate believer in lifelong learning, Emely is currently expanding her practice through studies at Functional Medicine University, deepening her holistic and root-cause approach to care. She has also served as a clinical preceptor for future healthcare professionals from Georgetown University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, and South University.
