Emilia Anyah, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
CA
I am a graduate of The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of combined clinical experience in mental health. I believe in taking a collaborative approach when partnering with patients. I also believe that if things are done well from the beginning, positive outcomes are more likely to occur. Doing things well means: • Allocating sufficient and quality time with each patient • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments that lead to more effective treatment outcomes • Working collaboratively with each patient to develop patient-centered treatment plans that meet individual needs • Integrating information from evidence-based research while taking a holistic and innovative approach to tackling the mental health challenges of my patients • Keeping my fingers on the pulse by ensuring timely and regular follow-ups

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
