About Emily Begley
Emily is an ANCC board-certified adult and family nurse practitioner. She received her Master's in Nursing Practice from the University of Florida, graduating with honors in 2007 and was inducted into the honors society Sigma Theta Tau. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of North Florida's flagship nursing program in 2003. Emily has over a decade of experience in healthcare and has worked at St. Vincent's Medical Center for most of her career.
Emily initially began her work in dermatology during an externship with Park Avenue Dermatology in Orange Park in 2009. She joined Dr. Boyne's practice in May 2010.
Dr. Boyne and Emily work closely as a team, and our patients benefit from this collaborative approach. Nurse practitioners are able to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications without the direct supervision of a physician. Emily is trained to perform surgical procedures and treatments. Nurse practitioners practice under their own license issued by the state of Florida.
Emily is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery.
