Dr. Emily Bernstein is board certified in Adult Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has two decades of experience treating a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses using both psychopharmacology and individual psychotherapy. She has worked in crisis settings, outpatient settings, and as a consulting psychiatrist on hospital medical units. She strives to build a trusting relationship with patients and includes psychotherapy into medication management sessions. Dr. Bernstein has a strong interest in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. She has experience and interest in managing women’s mental health throughout the pre-partum, pregnancy, and post-partum periods, as well as issues related to a woman’s life cycle. She offers medication management and psychotherapy to individuals 18 and older either in person at our Paoli, PA office or via telehealth.
