What should a new client know about working with you?

Hi! I am Emily, and I’m glad you’re here. I provide a holistic, compassionate approach treating individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Whether you’ve tried medications before or this is your first time seeking support, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel heard. As a new client, it’s helpful to know that our work together is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I take time to understand your experiences, preferences, and any concerns you may have about treatment. I believe in transparent communication, so you can expect clear explanations and thoughtful guidance, allowing you to ask questions at any point. My goal is to support you in building insight, developing effective coping strategies, and creating a plan that feels both manageable and empowering.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

While I have experience treating a variety of mental health symptoms, I especially enjoy working with young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD, as well as individuals in the perinatal and pregnant population. I recognize that each patient is unique, and I approach every person with respect, taking time to actively listen to their concerns and understand their individual needs. My typical process begins with a comprehensive initial assessment, where we explore your current symptoms, personal history, and goals for treatment. From there, we collaboratively develop a plan that may include therapy, lifestyle considerations, and, if appropriate, medication management. Throughout our work together, I prioritize ongoing check-ins to assess progress, make adjustments, and ensure you feel supported. I strive to create a consistent, open dialogue so that your care remains personalized, effective, and aligned with what matters most to you.

Ongoing session: $150 for 15 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
