After graduating from Georgia Tech, Emily gained experience working as a medical assistant in dermatology prior to beginning the Physician Assistant program at Mercer University. During her time there, she was able to complete three dermatology electives in order to expand her knowledge in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She finds the field of dermatology to be both challenging and extremely rewarding. Emily is excited to develop relationships with each of her patients and is committed to providing them with the best care possible.
Emily is a member of Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Emily is married and resides in the Buckhead community. She and her husband enjoy traveling, attending college football games, and spending time at the lake with family and friends. Emily has one younger sister who is a nurse in the ICU at Emory University Hospital.

I had a great experience with the doctor! She was very nice and explained things thoroughly. Got right down to the problem and solution and helped me before I left the office. It was my first time visiting this location, had some trouble getting there and was 10 min late. They were very understanding and still able to see me at my scheduled time. Really like coming to Dr. Didrick! She's friendly, takes time to talk through your issues and concerns, but she's also efficient. She usually gives me a couple of options and does a great job ensuring I walk out feeling comfortable with the next steps. And the office is cozy and professional. Emily Diedrick was super sweet and thorough when I explained what was going on, and she checked and proceeded to explain the different ways to proceed to fix the issue. She ended up referring me to a specialist in Gastrointestinal medicine because it was closer to what I required. However, she provided me with options before I left her office. I would recommend her to friends and family who need a Dermatologist.
