Emily Econie is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in California who has been practicing since 2021. She is most interested in helping people of all ages gain a better understanding of how the interaction between mind, body, and lifestyle choices, combined with conventional treatment, can optimize individual functioning.
It is important to Emily to practice what she preaches. Her daily routine includes waking up early, exercising, and walking her dogs before work. In her free time, she loves riding horses and learning horsemanship. She also started learning to play the banjo about a year ago and enjoys mastering new songs.

My personal experience with NP Emily Econie was excellent! Mine was an initial appointment that involved getting up to speed and covering a lot of ground and information. Emily was attentive, caring, and extremely knowledgible. Our engagement was easy and I felt heard and understood, which is a BIG deal to me. I have a special place in my heart for all who heed the calll of a career as nurse practitioner. There’s no beating the combination of relatability and professional acumen. Best of both worlds!

I saw Emily Econie and she was great. Was a available to see in person, which is a rarity these days, was ready to see me at exactly the appointment time, also very rare, and was a great listener. A lot of times with mental health, the provider will listen for the first minute or so then think they have everything figured out and stop listening. I also liked that she didn't try to push SSRIs/SNRIs like a lot of providers do and realizes that meds are only one part of dealing with anxiety. So glad to have found her.
