What is your typical process for working with clients?

Thank you for your interest in joining my mental health outpatient clinic. The first visit is a consultation appointment to get to know each other and see what issues or symptoms you are currently experiencing and if I am able to treat these issues for you. I generally do not prescribe medications at the first visit unless clinically indicated. Sometimes it takes 2-3 appointments to develop a treatment plan and start medication. If you are in a crisis and need medication or psychiatric intervention immediately, please call 911, contact your previous provider, or contact a crisis center.
