Emily Tiffen, LDN, MS

Dietitian
FL
I am passionate about promoting nutrition and holistic well-being to support physical and mental health. In a world saturated with quick fixes, I stand firmly against diet culture, which overcomplicates the foods we choose to eat leading to frustration, disappointment, and an unhealthy relationship with food. I’m here to help you not get caught up in every trend and find what works for YOU. I strongly believe that food should be a source of joy, not anxiety. It’s not about depriving yourself, but about finding a balance that works for your body and your lifestyle. My approach to nutrition is enjoyable, sustainable, and tailored to you. By combining evidence-based science with mindful eating, I am dedicated to empowering individuals with tools to improve their health and heal their relationships with food by addressing the root problem, not just the symptoms. Bio-individuality is an integral part of my practice as each person is unique in terms of their genetics, physiology, metabolism, overall health, and thus, their nutritional needs. When you work with me, you can expect a weight-inclusive, non-judgmental space where your health and well-being are prioritized. We will embark on a collaborative journey, exploring your goals, challenges, and successes along the way. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. My Dietetic Internship was completed at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where I provided medical nutrition therapy to a diverse group of patients. I currently reside in Miami Beach, FL, and am an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In my free time, I enjoy cooking new recipes, listening to wellness podcasts, taking pilates classes, reading, and going to the beach.
