About Dr. Emily Zachowski

Emily Zachowski. DO is a board-certified family medicine physician who brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to patient care. With a background in biochemistry from New York University and a medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Zachowski completed her residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive family care.
She is passionate about caring for patients through every stage of life. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, women’s health, and diabetes management, and she believes in the power of nutrition and lifestyle choices to support long-term wellness.
What Dr. Zachowski values most is building lasting relationships with her patients and their families. “There’s something truly special about caring for parents, children, and even grandparents. It gives me a deeper understanding of how habits, relationships, and community shape overall health,” she shares.
Outside of the office, Dr. Zachowski enjoys hiking, Pilates, and yoga, and most of all, spending time outdoors with her children. Originally from New York, she has proudly called Georgia home for more than five years.

Incredibly friendly doctor, perfect bedside manner. She remembered and respected that I am hearing impaired and communicated with me clearly. Listened to me thoroughly and believed me. Told me to "be persistent" and "not give up" when it comes to finding a diagnosis and told me some real truths. 10/10. Also really wonderful doctor's assistant (sorry I did not know her actual title.) Very friendly and attentive as well. Lovely people all around, whole office.
