About Emma Ludema
Emma Ludema is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about holistic, preventative care and building lasting relationships with her patients. She believes in treating the whole person and supporting wellness at every stage of life. Emma earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University, where she specialized in family practice. She also completed a semester abroad in Zambia—an experience that deepened her commitment to accessible, community-focused care. She spent six years as a nurse in the Neurosurgical ICU, gaining a strong foundation in acute care. Over time, her growing interest in patient education and long-term wellness inspired her to transition into family medicine in 2023. She has a special interest in pediatrics, women’s health, and geriatrics—areas where she enjoys forming meaningful connections and empowering patients to take an active role in their health. Originally from Colorado, Emma is now raising three energetic kids who keep her humble and very caffeinated. When she’s off duty, you can find her cooking something ambitious, hiking wherever there’s a trail, beating her husband at a board game, or making music—she’s a lifelong violinist and loves to sing (usually with an audience of children, willingly or not).

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Nurse Practitioner Emma Luckner was very courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. She helped me get the medical attention I needed as well as thoroughly completing my forms and went beyond the basics since it had been a while since I’d been to the doctor.
