About Emmanuelle Laguerre

Factors including nutrition, exercise, and sleep have a huge influence on our physiological and mental health. We often neglect such factors as they become part of our routines; however, they do have a considerable impact on our health. The good news is that we can control these factors and prevent complications leading to chronic disease. I apply functional medicine and nutrition to identify all potential factors leading to your conditions and help you set realistic goals to achieve optimal wellness. We will work together until you reach your desired objectives. You are in control-you got this! Born and raised in Paris, France, Dr. Laguerre is the founder and owner of BeAtitud Wellness LLC. Specializing in integrative and functional medicine, she addresses the root causes of nutrition-related disease to foster better health outcomes. Dr. Laguerre has always had a keen interest in science. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Bloomfield College in New Jersey and holds a master's in applied nutrition from Northeastern University in Massachusetts. She completed her dietetics internship at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. In 2017, after working as a project manager and research associate in a cancer research laboratory, Dr. Laguerre developed an interest in oncology. She therefore included nutritional counseling in cancer prevention and treatment as part of BeAtitud's services. Her interest in oncology also led her to study Americans' dietary behavior and beliefs regarding colorectal cancer through her doctoral research. This research resulted in the attainment of a Doctorate in Health Science with a concentration in leadership and organizational behavior from A.T. Still University in Arizona.
