About Dr. Eric Christensen

Dr. Eric Christensen is a board-certified internal medicine physician who joins the Prescott Integrated Medical Services clinic. He has been serving the Prescott community since 2022 in the field of primary care, and looks forward to continuing to serve in that capacity for the foreseeable future. He provides comprehensive medical care to all adults over a multitude of both acute and chronic conditions, with a particular interest in addressing and reversing metabolic syndrome and obesity. Dr. Christensen was born and raised in Southern California. He began his medical training in Guadalajara, Mexico at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, where he completed his medical degree with honors. He then moved to Texas where he completed his residency in internal medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas in 2019. He soon realized his passion for primary care with the aim towards preventative medicine and the hope of building lasting relationships with patients, especially those with chronic diseases and complicated medical backgrounds. He moved to Oregon with his young family and practiced primary care medicine for two years before deciding to relocate to Arizona to be closer to family. Outside of the office, Dr. Christensen centers his life around his family, and is a devoted husband and father of three. His interests include resistance training and fitness, European history and literature, cooking, hiking, with future hopes to advance in woodworking and explore big-game hunting.
