Eric Efuetngu is a doctoral-trained, seasoned nurse practitioner. He has worked in multiple clinical settings, including emergency room, urgent care, primary care, industrial medicine, and mini health clinics. His knowledge and experience have been invaluable to his patients and our community.
Eric Efuetngu's philosophy is, "Just listen to the patients, they will often give you the answer you seek." Eric Efuetngu, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and a founding partner at Diligence Care Plus. He is one of several providers at Diligence Care Plus dedicated to providing evidence-based healthcare with diligence and compassion. Efuetngu earned both his Master of Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at the prestigious Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky, in 2013 and 2020, respectively. He is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of California and is certified with AANPCP as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Eric Efuetngu has vast and diverse experience as a healthcare professional. He started his healthcare career in 2004 as a certified nurse assistant, working in long-term and rehabilitation care facilities. As a registered nurse, he has worked in acute care facilities, including DOU and ICU units. He has also worked in nursing homes and inpatient acute and long-term care psychiatric facilities.

I was scheduled to see the provider for 5:00 pm, but no one emailed me with the details on how to sign in to the video. I called in 15 minutes before the appointment as well as 15 minutes afterwards and left messages both times with no call back. I later noticed that they did call one time, three hours earlier. However, I was not available at that time. My co-pay was accepted before the scheduled appointment , so I was confident that someone would at least give me a call or email or something letting me know what happened. I am a bit confused and disappointed with this whole experience

Dr. Eric is excellent. He communicated with me prior to the appointment, and made sure I had all information for a successful video visit. During the visit, he listened and explained what was happening in a way that my 8 yo understood and felt very comfortable speaking with him. He was patient and thorough. This was my first time using Zocdoc and Dr. Eric made it seamless and pleasant.
