Doc Freitas was great. He listened, was very attentive and was excellent. The office at Careone was not great My script was called into Walgreens North Haven, but they did not have it in stock. NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME!
I called the office and they wanted ME to go to Walgreens in Hamden to ask if THEY had my script in stock. WHAT?? We went back and forth for a good 20 minutes. I told them, it is not my job to do their job. I got a notification from walgreens that they received my script. I got there and there was no record of the call. I'm confused. It's been 3 days, and I still dont' have my script. I hope that office can be more efficient and communicate better.

The provider was a great listener & understood my needs! The nurse practitioner (she had darker hair) she took my vitals & was very nice/outgoing! She even allowed me to stay later to complete my paperwork but then one of the other office workers told her that she could leave (since the office had been closing at 4:30pm & it was getting close to that time) so she told me after I was done to put it on the receptionist’s desk. so I continued filling out the paperwork & some time went by & this other office worker that was there (short reddish hair) asked me “are you done yet, I have somewhere I need to be” with very much an attitude, which I thought was rude. Other than her, the rest of the staff was nice.

First time meeting Dr. Eric Freites and he was such a calming and easy process! He listened to me, asked questions and showed that he cares about his patients. He takes his time with his patients, unlike some others that like to speed up the visit to get the next person in. I'm switching my primary care to this office because of my experience.

Doctor Eric Freitas was excellent to deal with. He went above and beyond to discuss my complex issues and develop a treatment plan. He listened to all my concerns and responded appropriately to them. He asked lots of questions to make sure I was being treated appropriately. I feel like I’m in good hands with a practitioner who is non judgmental and truly cares about his patients care above all else.
