What should a new client know about working with you?

It is an innately human desire to be heard, seen, and understood. My philosophy in approaching care is to ensure that I honor this to the best of my ability. I aspire to bring forth a space that fosters safety, respect, and thoughtful collaboration. I believe that through building a strong alliance and considering the full context of what may be occurring, beyond diagnostic labels, we can identify the right tools to lessen what may cause suffering. My number one goal with each person I encounter will be to ensure that I first listen, and that we explore what options can help deal with what has felt unbearable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session we will spend 90 minutes undergoing a very detailed history of your past and present. It is my hope to get a detailed understanding of your life story, medical history, current day-to-day, and your specific goals as to why you are seeking treatment. In our session, we will explore potential diagnoses that are appropriate, future evaluations, places we need to more deeply explore, and possible treatment options that make sense for you. At follow up sessions, which will be 30-60 minutes in length depending on your needs, we will continue to monitor your responses to any interventions started and continue to discuss your different symptoms, experiences, and continued goals as we empower you to build lasting resilience and fortify a foundation of wellness.
