“Dr. Lybarger was one of the nicest midwives I’ve met. I was nervous going into the appointment because I didn’t know what to expect but when I got there everything was perfect. Dr. lybarger has great bedside manner and gave clear information. Asked if i had any questions and waited for responses. I didn’t feel rushed at this appointment. Before I left I had next steps and appointments made. Overall this was a good experience for me.”

About Erica Lybarger

Erica Lybarger, CNM, IBCLC was raised in New Mexico and spent her young adulthood in Seattle. She recently relocated to Northern Virginia for her husband’s and her own professional opportunities. Erica completed both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Nursing at Seattle University and has greatly enjoyed being a nurse practitioner for nearly 10 years. In addition to being a Certified Nurse Midwife, Erica is a board-certified lactation consultant.
Erica and her husband, two boys, and old Labrador retriever live outside of Fairfax, VA. In her spare time, Erica enjoys cooking, trying workouts on the Peloton app, and exploring the DMV area. She is looking forward to becoming an active member in the Virginia chapter of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
