What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is collaborative, honest, and focused on helping you understand why you feel the way you do. I believe mental health care works best when medication, therapy, lifestyle, nervous system regulation, and self-understanding are integrated rather than treated separately.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together typically begins with a thorough evaluation where I take time to understand not only symptoms, but also the bigger picture — including stress, trauma, relationships, lifestyle factors, nervous system patterns, and overall functioning. From there, we develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your goals and needs. I provide medication management through a holistic and trauma-informed lens, recognizing that medication is only one part of the healing process. When appropriate, I integrate therapy-informed interventions into sessions, drawing from approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, motivational interviewing, and nervous system regulation strategies. Sessions are designed to be supportive, honest, and practical. I value creating a space where clients feel safe being authentic without judgment while also being challenged toward growth, insight, and long-term healing. Many of my clients appreciate that I am direct, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I believe in collaborative care, shared decision-making, and helping clients better understand themselves — not just treating symptoms.
