“This was my first visit with Dr. Beger and I can honestly say it was excellent!
Having R.A. can be debilitating, the pain is real. Dr. Beger has excellent listening skills, which I greatly appreciated, and he responded to my concerns so gracefully. Dr. Beger was kind, gentle with my concerns and very considerate. Excellent bedside manners, very professional and most important, he is very knowledgeable and wise with the autoimmune condition, R.A.; and that is what I was seeking in a Rheumatologist. He didnt just flipped his prescription pad, instead, he's studying my issues with R.A. to offer the best treatment for me. That is what I hoped for going to this appointment. I felt respected and regarded.
I will highly recommend Dr. Beger for R.A. patients.

Erik Beger is a diligent and warm rheumatologist serving the communities of Greenwich, Norwalk, and New Canaan, CT. Dr. Beger attended Universitätsmedizin Göttingen Medizinische Fakultät, where he received his medical degree and also his bachelor’s degree. He completed his residency in internal medicine and primary care at Boston University, Carney Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Montefiore Medical Center.

My first visit with him, when i had my husband with me, was very good. He spent well over an hour with me going over everything in great detail. He said he would run tests and in a few weeks we would meet again to formulate a treatment plan. He even discussed with me which medications he would most likely be prescribing to me. When i went for my followup it was like meeting an entirely different person. Maybe it was because i was alone, but i was told that i needed to “suck it up”. Wait until i got much much worse and then i could be treated. So much for early, aggressive treatment.
