Gulbrandsen was raised in Provo, UT and began his current practice in 2015 after spending 3 years working in Southern Utah for Intermountain Healthcare. He managed a complex care management clinic at Intermountain, focusing on those most at risk with major health conditions. Outside of his clinic time, he has been active in many healthcare committees to help improve quality of care for patients at Intermountain. Prior to coming to Intermountain, he was the chief resident at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he was the sole recipient of the prestigious 2011 National Scholarship for Excellence in Practice Improvement and Patient-centered Care from the American Academy of Family Physicians and Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He and his wife Annalisa have 7 children and they spend much of their time following them around to baseball games and tennis matches. Dr. Gulbrandsen served a mission for 2 years in Brazil and loves spending time with his wife and children, watching good baseball, and making sports highlight videos for his children.
